Tar Heels stay alive…

Good lord Rice, these guys cant figure out how to get to the championship series. They have a day off, are in the drivers seat, and fall flat on their faces against UNC. To their credit, the Tar Heels were agressive and really took it to the Owls. Should be a good one tomorrow on the East side. Dating back to last year, its Rice’s third straight loss when being one game away from the Championship series.

Stoked for tonights game, have Turp throwing on the mound. Hasn’t pitched since the Charlottesville Regional, like alot of our other pitchers, so hopefully the long rest isn’t a bad thing. But hey, we’re well rested overall and will be ready to play. Irvine won’t be easy, they are riding high after coming back to beat ASU in a classic CWS game last night. Should be a quality game.
