A Beautiful Game…

Last night’s game was what we needed. A game where both our pitching and hitting came alive. Too much this season we’ve had only one strong focal point with the other being absent. I think it probably led to a mediocre Pac-10 season, but I think last night’s game, everything finally came together. The good thing was we weren’t afraid of them, even though they swept us last month at Goss. I havent seen our offense play that well in quite some time, and it was at the right time. Stutes was unreal, utilizing his fastball and breaking ball and keeping the Devils off balance. We made one of the nations top teams look like they didnt know what they were doing. Now we sit and wait, and we’re one win away from the championship series instead of a dismal three.

Weather’s been cooler but tolerable at least. Temp is around 80 I’d say and unless a drastic change, shoudn’t rain. Just watched UNC derail Louisville to end their amazin season. Quite a pitchers dual, as there were no runs in the last seven innings combined and overall just six combined hits between the two teams. The wind was blowing in, so  you would have had to hit the crap outta the ball to send it out. ASU is warming up right now, and they have some hideous uni’s on tonight. That brownish color they have is their uniform color, with white pants, and canary yellow hats and socks. Yeah, pretty uggggly. Should be a good one, I’m pullin for Irvine, hopefully they’re not too tired from yesterdays 10 hour game, haha.

Nice to have the day off, Casey and Peter went to check out the zoo across the street from the stadium, which I guess is huge. Its took them over four hours to look at everything. If I wasnt such a poor college student, I’d be over there myself, looking at the crazy chimps and fat lazy pigs. Oh well, a zoo is a zoo I guess. Once we’re done, time to get some grub. Its meat loaf Tuesday in the media lounge, soooooo I think I’m going to pass. Well, hope everything is going good in Orygun, looking forward to tomorrow, have a good one. Peace.
